“Ask, and it shall be given you; Seek, and you shall find; Knock, and it shall be open
unto you; for everyone that ask receives; and he that seeks will find; and to them that
knocks it shall be open” Matthew 7:8
Jesus gives His children a challenge to request their desires; with the assurance of knowing He will deliver…. In requesting we understand that from the time we request, until we receive we often encounter much irritation. In this series Pastor Carter attempts to remove the mystery from receiving from God. - Asking: God can’t deliver until we decide. In this message the believer is challenged by the scriptures to decided their desires based on biblical mandate
- Seeking: Now that we have made up our minds we move from decision to determination. In asking we are on our knees, in seeking we get on our feet!
- Knocking: Perhaps the most misunderstood portion of requesting. We have made our decision, we are determined, but we often face delays. Jesus encourages us to demand until we see manifestation. We sub-titled this message, “I will be back.”
