Ben’s ministerial, civic experience and educational accomplishments are extensive. He served his country as a Federal Civil Service employee for 15 years and has 22 years of military service. Additionally, he has been a pastor for over 26 years serving 3 different congregations, 2 of which he founded. He has strong business and managerial skills, and his undergraduate studies were in Business Management. Ben holds 2 Master’s Degrees; a Master’s in Christian Leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky and a Master’s of Divinity from Liberty Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia. Additionally, he completed 2 years of Clinical Residency at the Alexandria Veterans Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana. While in residency, Ben’s primary focus of work was in Behavioral Health, there he worked with traumatized veterans and those who were challenged with various addictive disorders. Ben has extensive experience with working in grief and bereavement assisting those who have encounter loss, separation, and transition. He is currently in good standing as a Board Certified Chaplain with NAVAC.
Ben has committed his life to serving humankind. He along with William and Cynthia led Church & Personal Leadership Conference in Monrovia, Liberia West Africa. He seeks to enhance the Liberian people by establishing a school to build Church and Civic Leaders which in turn will influence and impact both the sacred & secular areas of their given society.
